Newark is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Newark is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Today, I had to go to the emergency room because I began feeling extremely ill after eating. I experienced blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, shaking, vertigo, and a feeling that I was going to faint. At the hospital, they performed multiple tests and informed me that my blood sugar was low: 66 mg/dL. I was discharged, but shortly afterward, I continued to feel extremely ill. I was still experiencing severe shaking, vomiting, and vertigo. I also had burning and tingling in my chest. I did not even feel well enough to return home, so I stayed at the home of someone I trusted. Because my symptoms continued, I returned to the same hospital to ask to be evaluated again. The experience when I returned was, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. As soon as I entered, the receptionist greeted me with an attitude that I perceived as hostile. When she saw me, she said: β€œAgain? Didn’t they give you medicine?” I did not argue or respond disrespectfully. I simply explained that I continued to feel very ill and needed to be evaluated. Later, a doctor did not even open the door to speak with me. He only stuck his head out and asked: β€œHow do you know your blood sugar is low? Did you check

It was a very long day. But i was able to get everything done for upcoming surgery. I was treat with respect and they help me thru all of it with no hassles. Ive been using the hospital for some years now. And have always been treated fair and with respect. I wont use any other hospital in the area. Because i was treat horribly in the other places. I give it a 4.6 star rating thank St. Michaels for all the help.

Everything was great. The only problem I had was the assistant who took my vitals and could not draw blood properly. I had to wait for someone else to do it which took about an hour to find someone. She was not friendly at all She became very nasty and agitated with me. She was short, Black and had a pudgy nose. and. was around 10 p.m. Check my records her name might be on there. Otherwise my experience was great..

I’m currently here in the emergency room for a severe case of vertigo, and I felt it was important to share my experience so far. From the moment I arrived, I have been treated with kindness, patience, and genuine care. Every member of the teamβ€”the RN, LPN, PCT, charge nurse, and the doctorβ€”has gone above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable and supported. Their bedside manner has been exceptional, and they have taken the time to listen, explain, and reassure me during a very uncomfortable situation. I would especially like to recognize my RN, Cristian. He has treated me extremely well and has been both compassionate and attentive throughout my care. I also observed him teaching a student, and he did so with patience, clarity, and professionalism. It was really reassuring to see the level of care and dedication he bringsβ€”not only to patients, but to helping train others the right way. I know this hospital has received some negative reviews, but my experience has been the complete opposite. The staff here truly care about their patients, and it shows in everything they do. I’m very grateful for the care I’ve received and wanted to recognize this amazing team. Thank you all

I recently visited Saint Michaels for treatment of a swollen thumb, and I was truly impressed with the care I received. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and professional. Every person I encountered was courteous and consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout my visit. I sincerely appreciate this hospital and its entire team, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of quality care. If you'd like, I can also make it sound more formal, shorter, or more heartfelt.
